This workshop is for those who have engaged with Generative AI anywhere in their scholarly research (writing, coding, designing, etc.) or are interested in doing so.
We will dig deeper into how GenAI invites us to interact with it and consider if and how its design may impact our behavior and academic work. We will take a close look at examples of our own experiences with the tool, and scrutinize the various affordances, pitfalls, and our reactions. The goal is to work towards a more reflective practice when interacting with GenAI, irrespective of specific domains.
Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your experiences to share.
Please register to attend. Registration is exclusively open to current Stanford affiliates and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. For those attending the in-person event, please bring your Stanford ID card or mobile ID to enter the library. Virtual attendees will receive a Zoom link upon registration.
